Once upon a time, in the book of Genesis chapter 24, there was a man named Abraham who was old and well advanced in years. The Lord blessed him in every way.

Time came for his son, Isaac to have a wife. But Abraham did not want him to get a wife in the place where they lived, because the women there, did not believe on the true living God.

So he called for his servant to find a maiden from another land where his close keen lived.

The servant went. He knew that there would be lots of women in the land but he was determined to find the right one, so he prayed. " Oh Lord, God of my master Abraham, give me success today and show kindness to my master Abraham."

His long journey was rewarded and his prayer was answered. He found his master's son, Isaac, the right maiden. The servant worshipped God.

Isaac married Rebecca and he loved her.
